The course The Sula Open 2010 is limited to 90 players included 5 wild cards. The event will be played on an 18 holes course, which will be modified for the Euro Tour tournament. Each regular round has 18 holes, Semi-final and Finals played on 9 holes. The course is under development - pictures and all other details will be published in february 2010. We have tee signs on every hole. Most likely the par on the course will be 62, all holes sorrounded by beautiful norwegian landscape in a park a like area.

Reserved spots
We have the following spots reserved for PDGA Sula EuroTour until march 31. - 24 spots for PDGA EuroPro Players - 20 spots for norwegian pro players with rating 900+ for men - 10 spots for Pro Women - 5 wild cards
These reserved spots are not personal, they are given to the first players who register and are qualified for a reserved spot in the resp. categories.

Prizes Prize money is estimated at € 2500. The prize money will be divided among the best 33% of the field in all Pro divisions (if four or more players enter the division). Top three in all divisions (if four or more players enter the division) will be awarded trofees. All juniors will get prizes. All according to PDGA-Europe standards. Also prizes for ace (hole in one), longest drive ( hole to be announced later) and CTP (hole to be announced later).

Accommodation - main place The main place to stay and sleep is at our club house. We recommend this option. The club house is located in the course. We have about 50 places here. Bring a sleeping bag and something to sleep on (underlie). Costs only 24 EUR for the whole long weekend ( wednesday-sunday) - or for one night. Our club house has showers, toilets, kitchen, training room etc.
Other places to stay Vegsund Marina (Sula) 10 mins from the course to drive. Reasonable prices and standard. Information on the link below - click on the picture:
Sunde Fjord Hotel (Sula) Fjord-hotel magnificently situated by the ferry harbour Solevågen/E39. View of Storfjord, Hjørundfjord and the Sunnmøre Alps. Ca. 18 km to the Jugend-city Ålesund, 10 mins from the course to drive. Click on the picture for more information:
Hotels ( Ålesund) Sula has no big hotels. But the closest city, Ålesund, has several hotel options. From Ålesund to Sula it is about 30 mins to drive. Information about Hotels in Ålesund: see the link belowe:
Hotels Ålesund Travel The smartest way to get to Sula is by air... Fly to Vigra, Ålesund airport. Then take the airport bus to Moa, to the bus terminal. There we will pick you up in private cars and bring you directly to the course/ club house. Call us at + 47 918 60 659 when you land in Ålesund to get picked up - for free! We hope you will get here in time to join the traditional pre tournament in Ålesund thursday afternoon - it is well worth a visit and a fine way to get to meet the other players.
Food/catering We will serve up two breakfasts ( saturday, sunday) and two warm lunches ( saturday /sunday) at the club house. Costs only 18 EUR per person. Beside this we will sell snacks, cold drinks, coffee, chocolate, pommes frites etc. We also have fruits for free. There is a grocery about 1 km from the club house / course. Every night there will be BBQ options at the club house - remember to bring food/drinks.
Player packages Included in the tournament fee is a player package with a value of about 24 EUR. This will be high quality products from Devold of Norway who is located in Sula.

NOTE! The registration is valid when the registration fee is available to us! The registration is confirmed by publication on the site under registered players, no other confirmation will be sent to the players. You register by paying the entry fee and for the accomodation / food to our bank account within 31.03.10. If we do not have registered your payment within 31.03.10 you lose your pre registered place and will be placed on the waiting list.
